1:03 pm	Rude Awakening Well, that was fun. My wife and I woke up to the sound of our Christmas tree falling over at about 4:30am. What a wonderful mess that makes: broken glass, glitter and pine needles everywhere, water-logged presents. And, of course, now I can no longer trust the tree stand to perform its one purpose in life. So this year our tree will be tethered to a hook in the ceiling. Next year I will build the UltimateTree Stand. Oh yes, I will. I will build it. (1 Comment |Comment on this)

3:16 pm	Mixerman Well, I just spent 6 hours the other night reading Mixerman's diary. Mixerman is a recording engineer/mixer involved with a very dysfunctional band. It is extremely funny in a shadenfreude sort of way. It will suck you in; you've been warned. (1 Comment |Comment on this)
